THAT’S A WRAP! 50TH ANNIVERSARY RECEPTION
NOVEMBER 30, 2017
The Missouri Historic Costume and Textile Collection wrapped up its 50th anniversary year in 2017 with a one-of-a-kind celebration at the home of Alfredo Martin and Beau Aero! Collection artifacts, including a 1920s sequin gown from the first donation to the collection made by the Kansas City Museum in 1966, were displayed alongside clothing designs from Textile and Apparel Management students who modelled the designs as part of the evening’s festivities. View the display guide to the right which includes descriptions of MHCTC artifacts and student designs.
