Designed for Rogers’ nightclub revue in 1975, this silver lame gown was also worn by Rogers on January 1980 when she was selected as one of three American acts selected to perform at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, France, as part of the ninetieth anniversary celebration of UNICEF. On February 25th of the same year, the Ginger Rogers Show opened at the Olympia Theatre in Paris during which Rogers wore this black and silver lame gown trimmed in black fur. The gown features Velcro closures on the back for easy dressing.
